The Dominican Republic-Central America Free Trade Agreement, more commonly known as DR-CAFTA is a free trade agreement between The United States of America and The Dominican Republican, Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua. The United States approved the DR-CAFTA on June 30th, 2005, and The United States House of Representative approved the pact on July 27th, 2005.
